Review of Mocca Deli and Pizzeria Pepperoni I Eskilstuna

During the last fifteen months, NJ Wines has tasted and rated food in all pizzerias and restaurants located in NJ Wines' city of Eskilstuna. NJ Wines visited all of these pizzerias and restaurants or ordered their food home. There are many restaurants in the town of NJ Wines, but even more so there are pizzerias. The quality and taste of the food varies greatly, from 0,0 NJP to 5,0 NJP. Unfortunately, most of the pizzerias and the restaurants have got 1,5 NJP of 5,0 NJP or even less. In this article, NJ Wines wants to highlight the absolute best when it comes to pastas and pizzas i.e. Mocca Deli and Pizzeria Pepperoni. What applies to over 99% of pizzerias and restaurants in Eskilstuna, including the best ones, is that one has to pick up salad, bread, drinks and food by him/herself. NJ Wines wonders why? The only logical explanation is that all these restaurants want to save money by having customers do jobs that their employees would do. In a lot of restaurants and pizzerias, the owners expect that the customer also clear the table after the meal. Note that this is nothing unique to Eskilstuna, the same applies to 99% of pizzerias and restaurants in Sweden. NJ Wines believes that this way of working is not good and means that many who are looking for a job in the restaurant and pizzeria branch never get it. However, NJ Wines understands that the very small pizzerias and restaurants cannot afford to hire more staff, but it does not have the same understanding when it comes to the large pizzerias and the restaurants.

Mocca Deli

Mocca Deli is a pleasant and beautifully decorated restaurant with a good atmosphere. The restaurant is located just a few meters from the centre of Eskilstuna, Fristadstorget. The quality of the restaurant's pastas is consistently very high, 5,0 NJP out of 5,0 NJP. NJ Wines' favourite pasta is Tagliatelle Beef Fillet (beef fillet, portobello mushrooms, chili flakes and truffle sauce). It is absolutely fabulous. NJ Wines has tasted it several times and it has always been perfect both in terms of the consistency of the pasta and its complex richness of flavour. NJ Wines has also tasted the restaurant's other pastas such as Tortiglioni Chicken (chicken, parmesan sauce, pesto and sun-dried tomatoes) and Linguine Scampi Limone (garlic fried scampi, chilli flakes and tangy parmesan sauce) and both have got 5,0 NJP of 5,0 NJP. Taking into account everything mentioned above, when it comes to pastas, the restaurant belongs to the best in Eskilstuna and to one of the best in Sweden and Scandinavia.

Pizzeria Pepperoni

If pizza heaven would exist, it would definitely be here at Pizzeria Pepperoni. Pizzeria Pepperoni is a nice and modern restaurant, which is located about 450 meters from the centre of Eskilstuna, Fristadstorget. The pizzeria has a very nice owner, a very nice future owner (son of the current owner) and very nice staff. If you like pizzas, the Pizzeria Pepperoni is a pizza paradise. Perfect and buttery dough, and perfect ingredients such as ham, salami, olives, spicy tomato sauce, cheese, vegetables, etc. All this is baked into perfectionism. When the pizzas are ready, their edges are brushed with extra virgin olive oil, which makes their edges incredibly buttery and flavourful. What really impresses NJ Wines is that the pizzeria always delivers perfect pizzas with perfectly crispy bottoms. NJ Wines always order its own version of pizza (Dr Jelisic's). That is, pizza = seasoned tomato sauce, cheese, ham, beef fillet, black olives, red onion and parmesan cheese. It is always absolutely fabulous and consistently gets 5,0 NJP of 5,0 NJP. All NJ Wines’ friends who have tasted the Dr Jelisic's have also given it 5,0 NJP of 5,0 NJP. In addition to NJ Wines’ own pizza version, all types of pizzas baked at Pizzeria Pepperoni are the absolute best that one can eat/buy in Eskilstuna and one of the best that one can eat/buy in Sweden and Scandinavia.
